    Colin Andrew Firth , CBE (born 10 September 1960) is an English actor. He has received an Academy Award , a Golden Globe Award , two BAFTA Awards , and three Screen Actors Guild Awards , as well as the Volpi Cup . Firth's most notable and acclaimed role to date has been his portrayal of King George VI in Tom Hooper ’s The King's Speech (2010), a performance that earned him an Academy Award for Best Actor among other accolades.

    Beatrice Wood (March 3, 1893 – March 12, 1998) was an American artist and studio potter involved in the Avant Garde movement in the United States; she founded The Blind Man magazine in New York City with French artist Marcel Duchamp and writer Henri-Pierre Roché in 1917. [3] She had earlier studied art and theater in Paris, and was working in New York as an actress. She later worked at sculpture and pottery. Wood was characterized as the "Mama of Dada."
